Welcome! Thank you so much for supporting the Find Your Food Voice podcast.

If you’re reading this, that means you’re interested in submitting your own Dear Food letter to the pod. Firstly, we promise to treat your letter with the utmost care and compassion. Thank you for offering us your voice and lived experience in our collective journey towards food peace. Before we get started, here are a few guidelines and boundaries:

  1. Please refrain from specifying any weight and size amounts in your letter. If you do, no worries, but we will not state the number while reading your letter on-air.
  2. Similarly, please do not provide graphic details to describe any traumatic incidents in your history – although we have a tremendous amount of compassion for your hardships, these boundaries are for the protection of our listeners that may be harmed through that content. We thank you in advance!
  3. Although Julie is a dietitian, she is not your personal dietitian – this podcast is meant to be an adjunct to visits with a dietitian, counsellor, or medical provider. If you are interested and able, you can find an eating disorder dietitian here.

Remember, your letter doesn’t have to be to food specifically – you can write to anything/anyone that feels therapeutic and rings true to your journey in finding your food voice.
