Dear Judgy and hating it,

Thank you for writing and we hope this letter isn’t freaking you out. We have worked out so many of our tangles and misunderstandings because of all your attention to body liberation and healing. WE notice the shame you still carry for the struggle. Please know this isn’t your individual burden. Consider acknowledging that your first judgement is not your own to live your values; it was given to you without informed consent. How would you rewrite these thoughts? This are your rewritten thoughts and you can choose to acknowledge the first thought, compassionately reject the shame that comes with them, and allow yourself to live life with your new chosen second thought. Doing this will feel clunky yet it will prove to be a way to help you and the world around you.
