Thank you for supporting Find Your Food Voice!
Julie: You’re listening to the Find Your Food Voice podcast where you and I are voice finders, unpacking our complicated relationships with food and rewriting them with our own voice. I am Julie Duffy Dillon, registered dietitian and host. This is a quick update, letting you know what to expect in July and August on the podcast. I had outlined a few more weeks of mini episodes that was really excited about, but I just got word from my publisher at Hachette I’m about ready to start my next round of edits for the Find Your Food Voice book.
Julie: So programming will need to wait until I complete that next round. I’m very excited for this book, but it is a lot of work that has kind of starts and stops. So what does this mean for you, VoiceFinder? Well, I won’t have any episodes until August, and we can still stay connected through my email newsletter where you can join 8 ,000 fellow voice finders since I will still be emailing during that time. The link to join us will be in the show notes, of course, in case that interests you. I would love to stay connected there.
Julie: This next season of Find Your Food Voice is going to be great. We have some really important topics like food freedom versus food voice. I’m starting a new series called Mini Sessions. It’s a way you and I to do a therapeutic activity together, just like I did with clients in my office. We’ll also, of course, every month be chatting with the rest of the Find Your Food voice team. Our first episode, we’re going to catch you all up on what we have been up to, and it’s been a lot. Of course, we’ll have episodes with more letters to food, interviews with fellow people that are interesting and exploring the complicated relationships that we have with food in our body.
Julie: So I’m signing off for now. Wish me luck as I get my editing hat on and I’ll see you in August. Bye for now.
